Large Belts

Tempering plants are the main market for large belts. Whether stand-alone manual cross belt machines or automatic lines from OEMs such as Ashton Industrial (horizontal) or the Lisec KSL (vertical).
KGS Telum® Red 200 grit is the recommended product for normal thicknesses. Heavier seaming can be obtained with Black 120 grit.
Life will always be longer for wet use but many companies are satisfied with the price/performance for dry use. Willian, Bohle, Ashton and other OEMs now offer dry belt options.
Belts for automotive windshield seaming are available with new developments for seam polishing - KGS Swiflex® R55 resin belts.
Belts are also available for crystal or soda-glass applications.
